I sent out a first really good written letter to Pawn Stars. By far one of my favorite shows and got back just a picture of three of them not even the four of them or signed. I then sent out another letter very well written if they could send a picture of four of them signed. They sent me the same crappy picture they did from the first time. I wasted 12 stamps on these people. They lost respect from me as a fan. I did use the address that was given by fanmail.

To be honest, they didn't have to send you anything...Sometimes you don't get anything back from certain celebrities, so be happy you got something.

If you knew the risks and took the risk you shouldnt really be complaining and saying you are no longer a fan because it doesnt really change how you feel about the show itself.I know it can make a person bitter because it happens all the time with alot of celebs they sign alot at first when they need us then after they get really famous and rich and no longer need us because they have so many fans by then and so much money that they stop signing.I mean who do they think they are now anyways,They just run a pawn shop and are on history channel its not like they are movie stars but what can you do

I actually have my doubts about the whole show now anyways,I think all the people that come in are just setups for the show and are provided the items ahead of time they pretend to sell,Im not even sure those gys even run that pawn shop...Never know whats real and whats entertainment these days.

They do run it. I've been there before they were famous. =)
Also, I believe they stopped signing because a lot of their photos ended up on Ebay.

Im sure they will loss a ton of sleep over you

.. & if you did 5 seconds of research & knew your chances of getting a return were pretty slim, why cry about your stamps you wasted? kinda dumb.

Yeah but why take an unnessisary risk? Like I said, if you did some homework on them you would have seen they simply do not reply anymore so, no offense, but you have no one to blame but yourself for this. Plus why are you getting mad at them for it, especially since you just said you knew there was a risk? Sure it would be nice if they signed, but some people don't sign, it's just that simple.
In the future, you would do well to check the database before sending out a request to see if people have gotten replies from someone.

i think another reason why they dont sign is because they have been touring the country buying stuff from people so they're not always there to sign...i got a chance to meet them sorta...they came out to a casino but if you wanted to meet them it was $10 and you would get your item appraised (unfortunately me and my hubby were near the end of the line so one of their people did the appraising) and then there was a meet and greet but since there were 800 people there to see them they rushed signing autographs and Big Hoss wasnt there because he was having his surgery or recovering from it...chumlee said hi to me and asked how i was doing which was nice...rick and the old man didnt say anything because they jut kept on signing pics...i ended up getting 2 which was cool...so the only other option is trying to meet them on tour or possibly writing to them via venue...
