About 8 weeks ago I sent 2 photos, LOR and SASE to Nicholas Lyndhurst and today I received my 2 photos back signed and personalised. He played Rodney in Only Fools and Horses - the funniest show ever!! I would love to get the first photo signed by David Jason but could be risky sending to him. Plus I got a rejection note from him in January saying he was not signing at the moment. I used the address in the database and the photos are below.

and how does it work? if I write him a letter, will he really get it? do I have to write a special kind of 'request letter' for the autograph?

Yes the address still works. Just write a normal letter saying how you're a fan of his work etc. then at the end request an autograph. Remember to include a SASE.

Maybe yes, may no. If you really want him to read your letter just write at the top of the letter "Please can you pass this letter on to Nicholas". I've had a lot of responses from people that talk about things mentioned in my letters so there's always a chance he will read it.
