Back on 10/21/2011 I sent Kevin Bass, former Houston Astros player LOR, SASE, and 2 cards. I got it back today (11-23-2011) with a note that says:
"I will gladly sign for a fee of $10.00 per card or item. Cash Only"
I will not be resending.

I can see paying for some people, or donating to a charity. But asking for cash, that is lame.

I sent out two cards to Kevin Bass in August. Got them both back today unsigned with the same note about sending $10 per card or item. Will most definitely not be resending.

He could be looking for cash for Christmas?
I have seen quite a few starting asking for money like Steve Sax, Lance Parrish, and now Bass.
I saw on the MLB network recently that Orosco knew Bass could not hit a curve ball.
In one of the most famous games in baseball history, the Mets defeated Houston at the Astrodome 7–6 in 16 innings as Jesse Orosco struck out Kevin Bass on a curveball for the final out with runners at first and second and New York advanced to its third World Series in franchise history.

Good for you, I wouldn't resend either. You can get other signatures from baseball players that far better then him, who will sign for free. And in a completely unrelated side note, I just had a friend move to sugar land texas a couple weeks ago... lol
