I sent a fan letter, an 8x10 photo and a SASE on December 6, 2011 to this address:
Robert Redford
3101 East Idas Road
Provo, UT 84604
Today I received the photo I sent back and an additional photo both signed and personalized. I heard he sends secs. I always appreciate opinions on authenticity.

It looks authentic to me. Congratulations!
If it's secretarial, Robert Redford's secretary certainly has crappy handwriting. With all the money he's got, almost surely he'd be able to afford to hire a secretary with better handwriting than that.

He's been secretarial for a very long time.

I think he would want a secretary with similar writing as him so they can fool people into thinking that Robert signed it

This is legit. People say they are secs but they are in fact authentic. Congrats!

Oh, now that you mention it, that makes perfect sense. Of course he'd want a secretary who can duplicate his handwriting as closely as possible, particularly his signature:
"No, Your Honor, that is not my signature on those checks on funds withdrawn from my banking accounts. Yes, Your Honor, I agree that the signature resembles mine. You see, Your Honor, it's very important to movie stars such as myself to have at least one person on our staff who can duplicate our signatures as closely as possible, as a means of fooling our fans into thinking we're signing the stuff they send us, when we're not. Yes, Your Honor, it does sound pretty stupid, now that you mention it. But nevertheless it is a fact, Your Honor, and the risk of having our banking accounts depleted is well worth it when you consider the undiluted thrill of putting one over on our fans."
Know what the judge would say to Robert Redford after that explanation? Same thing I'm saying to you now: Nonsense.

Could you please prove the "fact"?
I don't understand how one can say: It's a fact that these autographs are authentic.
They are not authentic because Redford is one of the stars whos autograph is very hard to obtain. He's using a secrtary for ages and a real collector (and fan of Redford) should know these
facts.
I guess we collectors should stay together and discuss any autograph about the authenticity. But it's not helpful to call a sec-autograph as authentic. If you have any prove that it's real: Feel free to share it with us.

Huh?! I've been a collector of autographs since I was a child corresponding with Boris Karloff. I've been researching and studying motion pictures since was was, like, six, and that means I've been doing it for over half a century. I'm a movie fan, and a fan of Robert Redford, and I've never seen a shred of documentation that he has a person on his staff among whose duties are to duplicate his signature or deceive his fans.
Please produce for us all--at the very least--your sources of documentation regarding Robert Redford's stated desire to deceive his fans.
