Pawn Stars - failure

Hi all,

I received a failure from Pawn Stars (History channel TV show, in Las Vegas.) They returned my picture, unsigned, and included a 8x10 unsigned (which is actually a worse picture than the one I sent!). That's a good $8 or so down the drain for me. I used the address in the database, which is their physical street address of the shop.

I would not recommend wasting the money sending them a photo, etc.

Shoulda done research on them before sending! They dont sign TTM, and I've actually heard the show's gotten to their heads and that they are pretty big jerks in real life too :?

I guess they all need to enjoy the fame while they have it and before they die of diabetes or a heart attack. Corey and Chum are so obese they're uncomfortable to look at.

Yeah it's true they are pretty gross to look at but I still enjoy the show.

Yup :) The show is great. I went to their store a few months ago when I was in Vegas. The "big 4" weren't there, but the security guard that sits by the door was there (got a picture with him), and several of the people you occasionally see in the background. The layout of the store was not what I imagined, so that was really neat to see. Also, the store, when you're inside, it just feels like a dingy pawn shop, and things all have really high price tags. It's cool to see a lot of the stuff that's been on the show in person.

By the way, this is probably common knowledge, but if anyone here happens to goto Vegas, you *have* to see Penn & Tellers show. Every night they stay after the show and take pictures and sign anything you want. My wife & I got pictures with them and Penn's book and our program signed. They're freaking friendly and cool.

Pawn Stars is really awesome, especially when they show rare autographs or so :D Sorry for your failure, nevertheless. There are so many stars that are much more famous than them which sign TTM. What a shame :D

corey had gastro bypass surgery so he lost weight and chumlee is actually nice...they were here at an area casino...corey was recovering from the surgery so it was only chumlee, the old man & rick...they signed pics but their guys did the appraisals...chumlee was the only one that would talk and say hi...the old man and rick were just signing pics and putting them in a pile while chumlee signed and talked at the same time...

I heard they were jerks in real life too. If you think about it, they're kinda jerks on the show as well. Like, when someone says what they'd like to get for an item, Rick's like, "Yeah, that's never gonna happen. Your item's not worth anything."
