STAN MUSIAL AWESOME SUCCESS!!

I am absolutely baffled by this success. On Feb. 18th, I sent a baseball, $40, a long letter, and SASE to Stan Musial at StanTheMan Inc. in St. Louis. In only 9 DAYS my ball came back SIGNED! It also came with a certificate of authenticity. I am really surprised and excited by this success because I know he is really off and on w/ signing, and baseballs through his company usually cost $100 TTM and he signed mine for only $40! I guess I am really lucky. Stan Musial truly is THE MAN!

Great success!
Just an FYI from a baseball collector. Anytime you're getting pricey autos on a baseball, spend a little extra on the baseball and get a Rawlings OMLB ball. They will costs you around $12-15 each depending on how many you buy and where you get them from but they won't fade or bleed. The ball that you had him sign (normally referred to as a "China" ball) will bleed and fade in a couple of years and the sig will end up looking horrible.

Yeah, the only problem is the official mlb balls cost WAY too much.. I am confident that the balls I get signed will be ok because they are made of leather like the mlb balls. The china balls your referring to are really shiny and slick... the only thing I look for when buying baseballs is that they are leather, and not the shiny crap those cheap balls are made of. Just because "china" is on the ball doesn't necessarily mean the ball is bad... if you look at official minor league balls they have "china" on them and look exactly like romlb's...... thanks for the feedback and good luck with your HOF collection!

That autograph is going to fade to invisible within a year, like any China ball will. The ROMLBs are expensive but they are thr only ball that will hold an autograph and the only one made with that leather (even the minor league balls aren't). And the ROMLB does not say China on it.

Whatever you say. The only things that matter is that 1.) the ball is not shiny, and 2.) It is signed with a good pen. It's as simple as that, you guys make it too complicated. I don't give a damn where the ball is made, just because it's from China, doesn't mean it's going to fade. I have the SHINY cheap china balls from 3 years ago that are still in perfect condition.
Quit trying to bring me down man, seriously, I just got a ball autographed from my favorite player, and I'm happy.. Maybe the only reason you're sour is because you don't have a Stan Musial baseball?

A sig on anything but a ROMLB isn't worth jack. Should have spent a few extra bucks. It will bleed even if its leather. Cheap leather bleeds is the point that guy was making. That's why a ball that you pay $10 more for makes the Sig worth $100 more.

I don't care if it's not "worth jack" because i'm not going to sell it.

"The Rawling ROLB1 is made of genuine leather similar to that of a ROMLB, therefore the ROLB1 is one step below the ROMLB, but still holds signatures well"

I hope you enjoy the autograph while you have it, cause in a few years you will be using it in a backyard game. If you're collecting to keep it forever, why would you not spend a few extra bucks and get something its going to last on. DONT say it wont fade cuase it will, I learned that when I statrted collecting signed baseballs years ago. Just admit that it will probably fade away much faster then a MLB and I am sure peopel wont keep giving you crap. People make mistakes, and they learn from them. Now learn from this and you will be able to enjoy them when you are old. Happy Collecting!!!

Ok guys I get it. I don't want to hear any more responses about it fading. I understand. Thanks for the feedback
