another successs for my Sex Symbols Collection (the 12th!!), received 11 days after my request. Sent LOR SASE and 4 photos at the address from database

the nicest photo did not make it back so Ms Bardot signed 3 of the photos I sent. I'm glad she sent back the one where she is talking with Pablo Picasso

Awesome success - she is/was absolutely gorgeous!!! One question - and its not meant to be a trick question, i'm just sincerely curious. Why were you seeking 4? Acquiring for trade?..or to sell?...I'm new to the site (though not the hobby) and have always tried for 2 myself (a spare is never a bad thing) - but i'm curious about the posts where I see "received 3+" as to what motivates those individuals to try for that many. Again, huge congrats on these!!!!...and hope you're not put off by my question - i def don't mean it in that way...

it's a good question and I like to answer it

first: I don't buy or sell autographs

second: I organise my autographs by themes. every theme generate a separate collection. some of my collections:

- JFK - Dallas
- Nobel prize winners
- sports
- sex symbols
-Elvis's girfriends
-famous bands
- famous survivors of armed attentats
-top 100 living geniuses
-top 10 chefs
- space tourists with paying ticket
-american jazz living legends
-Alfred Hitchcock's favourites actresses
-Pablo Picasso's muses
- history of Internet
-history of computers
- history of hats

so sometimes a personality fits in 2, 3 or more collections and requires different photographs. this time Ms Bardot fits in Picasso's muses collection, in Sex symbols collection, history of hats collection. I try to frame many of my over 3.000 autogrphed photos but until last year a frame was very expensive - over 20 $. but recently I found a danish manufacturer that provides me nice frames from 0.6$ each so now I have over 500 framed autographs organised by collections and exposed on walls of a little museum for myself - one of a kind.

Also I try to find photos almost unknown, even by the personality I send to. so often that personality did not send back that photo, keeping it for him/herself; it's understandable
