yes i wrote a letter to him and sent sase to that address in december last year
recieved it on 12th march 2012

He is very great on 'LOST' and 'The Vampire Diares' !
I sent my letter to him
in February last year to this address and never got answer
Sh*t. I hate this ! But on his Twitter I saw that he gets a lot of letters from fans. Unfortunately, on most are not answer because he doesn't have the time for this... So you have huge luck that he answered you !!!
