Emailed them via his website and received a rather dis-heartning
email back saying that they were unable to fulfull my request
as they received so many. I replied with well that's fine i'll
remember that next time he has a new album release!
I don't feel that WE as fans/followers should EVER have to pay
for their autographs, especially if we purchase their movies, CD's
or whatever. Very sad.

It's people like you that give this hobby a bad reputation. Just because someone KINDLY tells you that they're unable to send you an autograph, you take that as an opening to be snarky and rude?

You buy their movies, CD's, and "whatever" because you want the movies, CD's, and "whatever". Buying them gives you the right to have them, no more, no less.

Greedy???? Ummm Please! The ones I posted tonight does not even COVER the over 2000 I've gotten from stars! I hardly EVER ask via email etc, that's such a waste. I normally go in person and find them for my success! I guess that's what working in media does for you.

I've been interviewing celebrities for the past 6 years and collecting autographs for the past 8. I've asked for maybe 3 or 4 autographs from those interviews.

So, yes, what you do is my business, as you're giving both my hobby and job a bad reputation.

But you are right about one thing--there is always one jerk in the bunch.
