Sent 6/4, received on 6/16 RTS. I sent to him after seeing a recent success. it doesn't really say why it's returned because the rubber stamp on the envelope is illegible. Even my mail carrier wasn't sure why it was returned. i don't think it was because of insufficient postage because they usually have a different stamp that showing what postage is due.

perhaps you should try again? I know I and another person both received recent autographs from him. maybe it was just something weird that happened.

i wrote to him maybe a month or so ago to that address and i didnt get anything back yet...

My question is for the Admin, if I write to the address on La Grange Avenue, are there any special instructions I need to follow? I really want to get my sister Sean's autograph for her birthday in October, but I'm not sure where to start. Do I just write requesting one? Do I include a self addressed, stamped envelope? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Sean Astin?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it.
