Envelopes are being received torn as the lovely temporary staff that the Royal Mail employ during the Holiday period are getting nosey & trying to see if there's anything worth stealing from them.
The thieving gits do it every year.
Police checks on their staff would flippin well be a start.
We as collectors suffer due to their dishonest ways.
And please dont tell me that they dont do things like that because they DO.

You have a good point...
It's sad that someone may take advantage of this work by stealing things or being unresponsible.
However for most of the collectors (include me)mailing is the only way to get autographs from overseas celebrities,so there's not much we can do to avoid the lost.
I know I've lost 4 letters in the past few years and I try not to think if more of them somehow got lost.
