Yes. If you send to Gordon e-mail or only LOR you can get only autopen. If you send LOR and your photo, Gordon sign authentic.

At least I can have something back.

Actually my wife sent off 2 pics to be signed. We received back 2 postcard size pics and 3 book plates signed (they are all slightly different and you can see the ink marks).

I think it is just down to luck if you get them personalised. I would advise using a Via Venue address if there is one, better chances i recon.
