Congratulations on your cool success! Back in Aug 2011, I sent Ted Lilly an LOR and SASE @ the Stadium, and a few months earlier to Clayton Kershaw @ Spring Training, and I never got responded, and some months after me, someone got a Kershaw success. So cool that you got an Ethier success after that long!
