Hi Everyone!

On 3 May 2013, I sent a fan LOR, photo, & SASE to Carol Burnett. And on 18 May 2013 I got my photo back unsigned in my SASE, another photo was added however, and a note. The note say's "she is no longer signing items sent to her office" (you can read the whole note if you want, I will post it below & you will find this statement at the end of the 2nd paragraph).
So the bad news is I didn't get my photo signed, the good news is that at least her office was kind enough to let me know instead of just throwing away my letter and leave me wondering and trying again in the future. I'm sorry I missed her, she was very talented and funny, but I hope this will also help any of you who were on the verge of writing to her! Also can anyone tell me what they think, is this photo a PP or AP? I can't really tell and would appreciate your guys help- I used this address:

Sorry to hear that. I sent her on 28th March and i received my photos back signed on 30th April. It must have been one of the last successes from that address.

I agree, although it wasn't my desired response, I'm happy I at least got something back and wasn't left hanging out to dry because I at least got an answer-

I'm truly glad you were able to get one, I was just late behind-the-eight-ball as they say! I am really happy though that I at least got something, and I did try and got an answer so at least I know and am not left wondering if she ever got it, and would waste my time trying again!

I'm not surprised that she has stopped again. From all the successes I've seen, she might have decided she's getting too many requests. At her age, she may want to spend her time doing other things.

This means we just have to get her Via Venue now. I have seen numerous people get responses from her during her stand up.
