Gene Wilder Success & Failure!

About 3 months ago I sent Gene Wilder an LOR and an SASE to Pal-Mel. Not expecting anything back after people have been getting things saying that he no longer signs, I decided to send anyway to see what I could get. I didn't send my DVD covers as I was kind of new to this hobby and I thought it will just cost me more postage and if I am only going to get a failure anyway there is no point in paying a load of postage. Anyway, about 1 month later I received a package, so I opened it and here it was!

I was so shocked as he is my favourite actor of all time but also kind of gutted that I didn't send my covers or a picture!

So, as soon as I got it, a couple of days later, I wrote another letter to Pal-Mel but this time I included 2 DVD covers, expecting something back, but typically it was a failure and I received the standard letter back

The address you found worked for me but took about 6 months for a return.

You got a letter back from him. That in my opinion is so much better than a signed dvd cover.

A letter is 10X better than a photo and is also worth a lot more.
