Sent a letter and a picture to Johnny Depp July 10, 2013 and received it on October 15, 2013

it looks a little off to me, but i am not an expert. maybe someone else would know more. congrats on at least getting something back though.

I thought the same thing. Its kind of weird where he signed it.

Definitely a strange place for him to sign it, though I know a lot of people who would find that to be more than a great place for him to do so...
Haha, anyway... I have never known Johnny to sign authentically through his agency (it's always auto-pen). That fact, along with the strange place it has been signed, makes me think that this is most likely an AP. His agent, publicist, or whoever tends to him fan letters usually just shoves the pictures through the AP machine any random way they see fit. But thanks for the time you put into posting this!

It is his usual Autopen. No doubts, not a wee bit off... just the same response you always get. Not signed by Depp.

Look at the angles of the "signature", it may be a bigger example, but look at the various strokes of the letters, it's identical.
Seriously... it's simple. Johnny Depp DOES NOT sign via any agency address.

Without a doubt you sent a fantastic picture. Unfortunately, Depp does not sign authentically TTM. I have only seen one authentic TTM success on any forum that I've been a part of and that one was obtained VV. Unfortunately, yours in an AP. Congrats regardless. Still have a nice photo to display.

I saw on this site about a month ago someone sent to him VV and it was forwarded to Spanky Taylor so they got an autopen. Probably all of his fan mail gets forwarded there no matter where you send it.
