I sent David Moyes a letter just thanking him for his time so far at United, and wishing him well for the season. I sent a SAE in case of a response, but not expecting anything. I sent it on a Friday afternoon (can't remember date, it was Friday before the Newcastle game). I sent it Friday afternoon to Old Trafford, they had a 12.45PM game on the Saturday and I got a response, it was a signed club card and I got it back on the Tuesday after.

So as I sent first class it must have arrived Saturday morning, before/after that game he'll have signed and sent it and then it arrived a couple of days later.

As you can see, I've put it in a clip frame since and don't have the envelope any more. Very lucky as they're rare, just like my Januzaj one's I got back.

Hi there, I had sent a letter and a card to Mr Moyes in September 2013 but have not heard back since. I live in Asia, does it take much longer to reach me? Any idea how long it takes? Or could this mean I may not get any response?

You might get a response, but you might not.

If you've put the right amount of stamps on the letter to get one back then you could do.

But postage times can take anything up to a month or sometimes more from UK to Asia.

If you didn't put any stamps on to get something back, the chances are you wouldn't get one
