I'm pretty sure that's a presigned, not a preprint.

Oh really? I just assumed it was a pre print. How can I determine if it's pre signed?

Pre signed means the signature is real and she signed a stack at a time, may have not read your letter, but the signature is legit. A pre-print is when the "autograph" is part of the photo and there's no real ink. What you have is a pre-signed.

Oh ok, thanks for explaining that to me. Well that makes me even happier if it's pre signed instead of a pre print! :)

Hold the area where the autograph is to a strong light source,if the area where the autograph is reflects light differently to the rest then the signature is not a pre-print.The ink looks as though it is changing colour - e.g from black to grey or from blue to purple.

It's pre signed. I held it up to the light and the name changes colors, also I could see an indent where the T is crossed.

I'd have to disagree with most of those responses, it's been a long time since Bonnie signed items via United, and if you have a look at the other successes on FM like this one... http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic ... 4#p1252904
it tells it's own story I think.

I assumed it was pre print when I received it, but I did shine light on it and could see colors change in the signature. It's probably just a pre print though like you said.
