Arlene Dahl - Partial Success

I mailed four lobby cards with fan letter/autograph request and SASE to the database address. One lobby card was personalized and signed, the other three returned unsigned. Maybe a mistake on Ms. Dahl's part?

I wouldn't say it was a "mistake" on ms. Dahl's part. Celebrities go through tons and tons of mail a day, I can understand why she'd only sign one. Nice success

She is an absolute darling to her fans both she and her husband are total sweethearts. You must remember she is getting up there will be celebrating her 90th this year. Perhaps she wasn't feeling well. Just be grateful for what you received

I agree with the other posts. Ms. Dahl has always done everything that she can for her fans. She possibly had a heavy load of fan mail or was not feeling well. I count myself lucky to get anything from classic stars. Age and demand must weigh on them at some point. The first time I wrote to Ms. Dahl, I sent a LOR and nothing else. She returned 3 photos of her own. One of which was a vintage photo that had not been reproduced. The next time I sent her a photo that had been signed by another star. That time she only returned the one photo I sent. Lucky on each request with varying results. Congrats on your success. Be grateful!
