That's fabulous. He's great with his fans and a fantastic actor.
Even though he's the 12th Doctor, each Doctor has to find his way to portray this character and capaldi has it down too the tee.

I only got a preprint in Black and white and he didn't even touch the photo I sent him.
When the photo came back, the envelope had been slit open across the top but the contents were intact, I reckon someone at the sorting office is rifling through peoples things

Erm no... what is happening is the occasional bit of mail is getting through to him and he is signing, while the rest is getting the standard printed signature. There would not have been the printed photo if you had an authentic in there too.

I did say in my letter that i wasnt in a rush to get them back and would rather wait and get them hand signed rather than a pre print so maybe that helped or maybe it was just luck and he was in the office when mine arrived?
