Shame. I think that's the way it's going to be from now on unless you write some sort of awesome letter or proven charity request and then it might very well get passed onto him :D

It looks to me like a pre-signed, rather than a pre-print. Though, it's hard to tell for sure without it in front of me.

Well, first off, I have never seen a pre-signed in which the signature went outside the bounds of that white box. Secondly, that enclosed note is very similar to what the representatives of Freddie Highmore and Henry Cavill send with their photos (and those are both pre-signed).
