I sent a letter to his foundation, and his assistant replied on his behalf explaining he doesn't sign autographs.

I don't think MJF doesn't signs. It is his foundation, but it doesn't mean they will actually provide signed photos. The letter says that the foundation does not provide them, not that MJF doesn't signs or no longer signs autos ;)

I disagree with the both of you. It says: ".....number of similar requests for autographs, photos, auction items and/or personalized memorabilia..." I think that statement means no autograph requests or any type of item from Michael including press photos, letters from him, and yes: autographs. But you can try to see if you send your own pic, will he sign it...if you do decide to send something, good luck!

Yes, that's absolutely right! What I actually meant is that 1) the Foundation itself won't do all those things (and yes including the fact of forwarding mail to MJF maybe) as the letter stated it and 2) that MJF does signs (there's feedback from him when he was doing his show). I said that he signs in a very general way, not that he signs from his Foundation, because what the OP said was that MJF "doesn't sign autographs", and when I firstly read that I thought that he was no longer signing for good, and just wanted to clarify what the letter actually stated.
