Then you should have taken a blue marker and signed Shirley MacLaine's name on it yourself instead of mailing it to her. Same result.

Maybe you can wipe the secretarial signature off and keep the photo. Or maybe everyone should just ask for a photo from her and ask the secretary not to wreck it by writing that garbage on it. Just an idea.

you're very pleased with a fake? Seriously, you could have had ANYONE in the world who wasn't Shirley sign this and have the same result. If you're pleased with it and don't care about opinions from others, then don't post it.

the members of this board clearly don't give a $hit whether the autograph they received is real or not so it's pointless to try to inform them. let them collect whatever they want, fake or real, it's not your collection. and it's not a matter of "trying to inform others," just stop. fanmail biz members write to debbie reynolds, dick van dyke, and shirley maclaine every week so obviously nobody is listening or cares. go join another board that actually has knowledgeable members, there are very few of them here
