James May e-mail pre-print

I wrote to the supposed James May e-mail (fiona at arlington-enterprises.co.uk) and asked for an autograph, since some seem to have had success there!

Well, I wrote on the 20 of January, 2015, and today on the 29 I got a letter in the mail, with a pre-printed autographed photo.

I know celebrities are busy and all that, but it's always kinda sad when they send out a PP instead. I actually think I would prefer no response at all, than a PP.

Did you ask for a hand signed autograph of James May?

I received a authentic autograph using this email.

To be fair, if people are being lazy and emailing asking celebrities for autographs you should be grateful with what you get. If you'd spent the time to write a letter and got a pp I could understand the annoyance, but if you don't take the time and effort to do that you should be thankful for any response.

Yep, I did. Oh well, it's all part of collecting autographs through the mail (or e-mail in this case). Sometimes you get the real deal, othertimes a PP, other times a letter saying they don't send out autographs, and sometimes nothing at all.

I'll write him a proper letter once I get some British stamps. :)
