Around the middle of March i sent a letter and a SASE with my address on it to George RR Martin (sent to address in the database) and today in the mail received a signed bookplate.

I'm really thrilled with this, as I'm new to TTM collecting, and he is one of my favorite writers, and this is my first success

Could you maybe tell me the size? I want to send him a letter in a few weeks and in case something comes back I want to have the right size of the letter

eti1208: It's a little bigger than I was expecting (Maybe 3 x 4. I don't have it with me right now so I can't check.) so a regular legal-sized envelope won't work. The envelope I sent was around 5 x 7 or so.

It is the size of a baseball card..but it will fit in a normal 3 5/8 X 6 1/2 letter envelope..

I measured mine last night. It's 4 in. by 6 in. and is oriented vertically. It looks like pageturner415's card is oriented horizontally.

thanks , that means I can use my standard envelopes ^^
