Sent a photo, LOR, Self Addressed envelope and 30$ for postage and donation 10th May and received back 24th

The signature and writing is identical to those that she auctions for her charity.

I also contact her fan groups on Facebook and they agree it is genuine and that she is still signing occasional.

Anyway I'm happy :-)

I used her Animal Foundation address on this data base

Don't kid yourself Anthony.

They are secretary signatures. That is not 91 year old Doris handwriting.
But if you don't believe me then fine.

I understand that there has been rumours that her Sec signs.
However if her sec was to sign the items that get officially auctioned for her foundation then it would be serious fraud.

Also her fan site said that she no longer loops her "D"'s because of her arthritis in her hands and keeps her signature simple.

No one has ever produced proof that he sec signs and it's merely hearsay.

My nan is 94 years old and more than capable of signing her name.

So maybe it is or maybe it isn't, based on the info and opinions I have had so far I believe it to be real.

You beat me to it above poster, but I was going to say the same thing. She is, in essence, charging for her autograph via the donations requested. This is, essentially, fraud and I'm pretty sure her people would know this and would not risk the potential lawsuit. Plus, having seen 92 year old Stan Lee sign in person, she certainly could sign like this. I also got a sig from Dame Vera Lynn who is about the same age and her writing is still beautiful too.

I agree too.. It is authentic. She is a class act and would not take money for her animal charity under false pretenses.. You did good, very good..

Betty White is still giving autographs and her signature is terrific for a 94 year old woman.

These are all secs.

She doesn't sign. Her real sig has different D,s.

She hasn't signed for over 10 years. She's senile and her friend signs them.

Doris day doesn't even know who she is. She can't even remember her movies.

This would be an example of a "good" Doris Day autograph.
