Sent to Fats Domino about 6 weeks ago. On Monday I got the picture back signed but I think it might not be real, I don't know what you call it a stamp or auto pen? You can't see too well in picture, but the signature looks sort of ...well not real, but I hope it is. Used address on site.

Yep same here I think he used an autopen but I sent 2 pictures and I got two slightly different signature on mine and i have an older 3x5 actually signed by him n it looks just like our slightly off signatures just not autopenish lol

Hard to see from your photos but it looks like a stamp to me. Are there any different pressure points or pen streaking in the autograph... or does it look uniform throughout?

Also, this looks much neater than the authentic autographs he had been returning over the past few years. His autograph had been getting slightly erratic and shakier.

The signature looks 'checky', I mean if you look close the ink of the signature is all criss crossy, that probably doesn't make sense ..........

I have A photo with autograph who hè sent last year. This photo look real.

I rec'd the same photo signed in the same shaky style but 'Fats' is signed above 'Domino', not all on one line.

Fats has sent out the same photo for years. I have an authentic from about 15 years ago....same photo. He is in declining health and has had several health scares in the last few years. The signatures here seem much "shakier" than mine, which obviously happens to many as they age. (Burt Reynolds for example) Without seeing them in person, it's hard to say. Fats has always been very generous with autograph seekers, but maybe he's finally reached a point where it's hard for him to even keep up.

I have a hard time believing that they would go to the trouble of adjusting the auto pen shakier for aging. Given his reputation, unless there is an identical one out there to compare it to, I chose to believe it's authentic. (saying that because I sent him two pictures a month ago and am hoping they come back different). LOL
