Just out of interest, how did you buy a british stamp from where you are?
I'm looking to write to someone but they live in france and I'm wanting to buy french stamps for the return leg.
Is there a website you can go on ??

to Jasonm25870: she's doing it throught friends, already asked bc i'm from same country, but if u dont have a stamp you should use IRC(international reply coupon) u can buy it on post and send it with photos. They change that irc u sent for stamp, so it cost them nothing and u practically sent a stamp.

They don't sell IRC's anymore in the UK, they were phased out about 3 years ago.
I'm completely stuck.

You can send money, too. French currency is Euro so you can enclose about 5 Euros and it will work Good luck

It's always a plan, I'm contemplating it although it's not recommended to send money through the post....eek

You can buy any stamps from reliable sellers on eBay or amnazon.

I've been looking on ebay but they're only selling stamps for collectors, all I see is vintage collectible stamps....
