I always send my own photos, I just tend to grab something off google from time to time and get it printed out to send. If you check out some of my successes , most of them are of my own doing....I think I've only had about 5 preprints in the last 2 or 3 years.
Only because I've sent my own photos and they have been kept and swapped for an undedicated pre-print
