I sent a letter with picture to chef Gordon Ramsay about 2 weeks ago using the address listed below. I got a response today. My photo was returned with the SASE I sent with it. Instead I got a different picture and while I'd like to believe it's real I'm not sure. More than likely it's a preprint but I just want some confirmation. Thanks :razz:

I'm no expert in judging originality. But he was so good in dealing with fanmail, usually when he's not in UK the secretary would return your letter and attach an apology letter, and when he is in UK he'd sign it and send it with a very nice envelope from him. I think, if he was that good, I believe this should be at least real, not an autopen or a sec, just that he signed many like this. But again, it's just my opinion.

I'm not sure why but I actually received another envelope in the mail from the Ramsay Group today. It included the same letter and another autographed picture (same picture as the first). The signature was different this time though. It looks exactly the same but is a little higher up if you look which makes me believe that this is his authentic signature..... or a secretary signing a bunch of his pictures. Any thoughts?
