Robert Pine (of Chips) Success!

After three years and two failed attempts, I finally got a reply from former CHiPs star Robert Pine, best known as Sgt. Joseph Getraer in that show, but these days he is best known as being Chris Pine's father.

I purchased a photo from Pine's website http://www.robertpine.com/webstore.html eight weeks ago and today I received it.

And even though the picture was mirrored
(as Getraer's badge is on the left and his name badge on the right), it was still a great success anyway. So, I wrote the word "Getraer" on it personally and blocked out any mirrored text using a sharpie pen, to create a more better image (as I actually don't allow mirrored photos in my collection.)

This marks the third success I got from a star on CHiPs. I already have Jon and Ponch themselves.

I am now attempting to get ones from Brianne Leary (who played Sindy Cahill), Randi Oakes (who played Bonnie Clark), Tina Gayle (who played Kathy in the final season) and Jayne Kennedy and Cindy Morgan (from the failed Chips spin off Mitchell and Woods.)

Hi stigduke :)

Thank you for your feedback {up}

Would you have a scan of the envelope and picture you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

That website has been updated since I sent him a check for one of his photos. I never got a cancelled check nor did I ever get an autographed photo. I sent a few e-mails inquiring about my check and photo and never got a response.

Why choose a mirrored image and then use a Sharpie on it? Looks like they had other photos to choose from. I can't see "correcting" a photo, I would have gotten one I was happy with to start.
