Photos that Celebrities use

Hiya and thank you for your Forum !

Can someone help me with Info regarding what happens if someone uses a Celebrity Photo as their own for posts they make on a UK Forum ?

Where I live, a Member of a Local Forum uses a photo of Clint Eastwood as his "member photo" and I wondered if this is an infringement of Copyright Law ?

I adore Clint Eastwood and am deeply concerned that his name may be being "taken in vain" !!??.....

If they claim that they are Clint Eastwood, and they aren't, then there is a problem. But if they are just using a picture for non-profit reasons, then I don't think it is illegal.
