Michael Schumacher injury

Unread post by Mirodon »

I am sorry for writing this in feedback, maybe admins can move my post to the right place. But there is really sad news
that Michael Schumacher was injured in skiing accident in France. According to Skysport he is right now in surgery ,because
doctors wants to prevent him from a intracranial hemorrhage. Let's pray together for him.Really hope he will be ok.

Sad as it is, he's just another person. I wonder how many others have crashed skiiing in the last couple of weeks/months/years etc? Also, as you know it's not in the right section, why is it so difficult for you to post it in the right one? Part of the reason the Admin does so little on this site is due to the amount of menial crud that has to be done to clean it up all the time because people post non feedback in feedback.

Awaits the usual trolls saying "don't be rude", but I do believe there's nothing rude there.
Things not to do, forget your autosaved password for a forum. Woops.

Kitchens have more brain cells than some forum posters.

My husband suffered a similar injury, several brain heamorrhages, brain swelling, fractured vertebrae etc, through a cycling accident in Oct 2010. He was in a medically induced coma for 2 weeks in ICU. At the time the doctors said he had a 50% chance of survival, and that if he did survive they weren't sure what damage the brain had suffered. When they did start to bring him out of the coma he had no major brain function problems. One of the obvious things was he was very confused about where he was, who had visited him etc. the surgeons operated on his back while he was in the coma, so he was unaware of that, thank god. For the first few months he was very confused about everything, form whether it was 8am or 8pm and on the journey home from the hospital (after 3 weeks as an in-patient) he could describe perfectly our previous house. but not the house we had lived in for the past 7 years. He was also very angry with me, I suppose being the closest to him. We have been married for 21 years and together for 28 years, but one night shortly after being at home, he asked me where my husband was !! Corinna, as well as Micael, has a long road ahead of her. I hope she (and their children) get the support they need during Michaels rehabilitation. I wish them all the very best for the forthcoming week, months and years.
Ps my husband still has random memory problems and is still impatient.
