Watch out for this scammer on facebook

Unread post by JRees22 »

Hello everyone i put up a request on my facebook page asking if anyone had an email address for pele a young lad message'd me and said he had pele's private email address but he would only swap it for an autograph of mine so i said it was a deal i sent him one of my signed steven gerrard pictures and he gave me an email address when i email'd it it turned out to be a fake email it was from a fan page on twitter set up by a random person. When i messaged the young lad and asked him why did he send me a fake email he was abusive and rude and then started to claim he never received an autograph after i sent it nearly a week ago. I am really dissapointed because ereyone i have traded with for address and autographs have been genuine traders.

Just to let you know to avoid this person i have added his profile below.

Thankyou

I often look at all the post on here claiming to have received this and that signed picture from a footballer's private address or email and I reckon 95% of them are pure bull, I've seen so many pics of 'signed' pictures on here that are so obviously fake (there was a Nani signed card on here a few weeks back that actually made me laugh out loud at how obviously fake it was!) it's unbelievable, so it's no surprise the scammers then scam others by getting them to send their real signed pics for 'private emails' that don't work.

Sorry to hear about that mate. I honestly don't get why people do this, if its purely to sell them on surely its just easier to forge them... if they are actually collectors then half the fun is the waiting, and the joy of the autograph arriving to YOU.

Cheers for the heads up, if you have his address then surely you can report him? must be something you can do pal
