MTV Video Music Awards Competition - need a serious opinion

hi everybody,

I'm seriously thinking of entering the MTV VMA contest to win a trip to NY, but the question is - I am 17,5 and the entrants must be 18. Since I have an older sister or my mum to enter, do you think that they can take me as the 2nd person (trip is for 2)?
Seriously, I really want to enter and it's the first competition that residents of Moldova can enterm but the only problem is my age. Do you think that my older sister's or mum's entry can be accepted and they can take me as the 2nd person in case they win?

I'd really like to hear opinions, pls.

i would have thought it would be ok, i guess they just need an 'adult' to go as they're probably not allowed to let people under 18 go unsupervised.

You should be allowed but if your mum or sister entered, they wouldn't be allowed to take anyone under the age of 18 I shouldn't think so I would suggest YOU enter
