And, might I add, I found the number in the public phone book. They aren't unlisted.

Then contact their agent or manager..

They aren't in that line of work. They have no representation at all.

With them, the autograph request address is their home address, and they don't care. They'll sign anything you send them.

I thought you meant a big time celebrity, if they don't care if you call them to request an autograph then you could do it if you really wanted to. I would be way to afraid to though.

If you're sure they don't care then I guess you could. I personally wouldn't do that. Maybe you could write him/her a letter first asking permission to call. Then see what they really think.
And if you're doing an interview you could always send a questionairre in the mail..I know its not as great as talking to them in person but still, I get mad enough when people call me on the phone selling stuff.

Today I called him about an interview for my school newspaper, he laughed and said he was on his way out the door to do an interview with BBC and if I called tommorow, he would answer any questions I have.
