I read a lot of random books and I love poetry but there are some series I follow.
1) Shakespeare - I read the complete works throughout my school life.
2) Mary Jane Staples - all of her books follow the lives of the same family.
3) Torey Hayden - she writes of her experiences as a special needs teacher in the 70s-90s. Her books are truly inspirational.
4) Bernard Cornwells Sharpes series. I like all of his books though.
