I would definitely sign. However, writing back may be a different thing.
I would hire a secretary, or someone I know really well, and get them to read every letter and weed out the bad ones and the good ones (in terms of content, as well as if there is an answer needed) and the ones that should get a response I would take the time to write one out. However if it just said something like, "I love you, could I get your autograph?" well, there's not much to answer there, is there?

i would do the same. i would most likely read ever nice letter, and i would for sure write back. i think celebrities that are bad with fanmail shouldn't get as great as support as someone who is good. fans keep a celebrity popular.
JANUARY SUCCESSES:: Jennette McCurdy, Nathan Kress, Shawn Johnson, Rob Schneider, Nikki Reed.

I would try to answer all my fanmail personally. I think if you are an autograph collector you know just how great it makes you feel when you get a great reply from a celeb. I would want to be able to sign photos, write letters back to everyone that writes to me, whether they request an autograph or not. I think celebrities who are really busy and still try to answer their fans personally are great, and i think it shows how much they appreciate their fans, unlike celebs who don't sign at all.

I would love to read/do fanmail. :)
I'd try to reply to everyone that I possibly could, but if it got too overwhelming I'd hire someone to sort through the mail and I'd have a stack of pre-signed photos. The really special letters I'd want to see and answer their questions and personalize their photos and items.

The others would just get their photos returned unsigned with an authentic pre-signed pic.
But no way would I ever go to PP, autopens, or sec.

I would make sure only the genuine fans gets my autograph  . Also, it would be a policy that they must include their own postage and photograph. All autographs will be personalized and if I do not have time to do so I will get a secretary to do it as I do not like the idea of me wasting time signing so others can make a quick buck off it..

Read the letters, answer, sign photos, send out signed photos!

I would, send 1 little signed photo to those who obviously aren't fans and just want an autograph

And send 1-3 big cool signed photos to real fans! And I'd even call them on their birthdays and try to meet them :) Maybe also send signed movie props to fans on their birthday or something like that :)

-Rob
I'd do exactly the same thing as you Rob!
