I love Legally Blonde I've seen it on Broadway 3 times, it's a phenomonal show that I love!! I was so sad to hear the news of its closing, I'll be back in the city in December but it'll have closed before then which is a bummer. But anyway...
Becky is phenomonal!! You have nothing to worry about her on tour. She is the mere fact and only reason I have interest in seeing the show on the road. I often can be biased towards actors when I love a cast so much. I believe this biase is really only towards the Legally Blonde cast! I can most certainly not picture another actor in for Kate, Richard, Michael, Christian, etc. But, I have to say, Becky is my favorite out of the three Elle's I have seen; Laura, Bailey and herself. She is also the only Elle who has choked me up at the end; "..make me the happiest women I know." I love that line, and I have only been so...touched? By it when it was delivered by Becky. So props to Becky!!
Wellll. This was a great show that shouldn't be closing, but, ah well, life goes on.

I've been hearing great things about Becky all over.

The tour cast seems if-y. I think that the Emmett (DB Bonds) looks more like you'd expect from an Emmett (Sorry, Christian Borle did NOT look like he'd really end up with Elle Woods...no offence!!). I'm definately going to miss KATE SHINDLE as Vivienne, but other than that the other roles are "replaceable." They actually had to make adjustment to some lines because the new Vivienne is taller than Becky, or only slightly, with the line in Positive!

I'm super excited for COLEEN SEXTON as Brooke, and she has actually been getting some decent reviews!

I've got to get my tickets! I can't miss COLEEN SEXTON again!

I know, right! Becky is extremely tall! Wait. So don't you mean that they had to change the line because Becky is taller than the new Vivienne? Because if my recollection proves to be correct, I thought Kate Shindle was always taller than the Elles on Broadway (If not on purpose, then coincidently)??
And I am also excited for Coleen, it'd be great to see her in that role.
Ehh. Yeah, for me, I can see anyone in Wicked because that's a lot of the fun in seeing it multiple times. But with Legally Blonde, my worry about it is I'll go in, have my expectations too high because of the cast on Broadway I admire so, and then I'll feel let down just because no actor will come up with what Kate Shindle, Richard H. Blake, Christian Borle, etc. has put into the role. I don't know if I sound totally crazy..Hopefully you get my drift :]
Ah well, enjoy the show!

Broadway's Jekyll & HYDE (my fav!) saw four tall actresses play the leading role of 'Lucy'...Linda Eder, who originated it was 5'11, Luba Mason was 5'10 & Coleen is around 5'8/5'9, and Kate Shindle, who understudied Coleen is around 5'10/5'11 too.

Becky and the new Vivienne are roughly the same size, maybe the Vivienne's a little taller but not visible like with Laura Bell/Bailey and Kate. She's a little more heavier set than the stick that Becky is, so reportedly Becky didn't want the "twice my size" line to make people think weight-wise.
