New sequels to 'Police Academy' and 'Three Men'

Unread post by mymymy »

Whilst meeting Steve Guttenberg in person at the stage door of the Churchill Theatre in Bromley where he is currently appearing in Panto he told me that an 8th Police Academy film with him directing is in the pipline and so is a sequel to 'Three Men and a Baby/Little Lady'. I for one am very excited about this. The 80's was my favourite era for films and I loved these. I appreciatte that remakes or sequels made now often dissapoint but I am hoping that these will be different. Tom Selleck and Ted Danson are expected to re-untite with Steve for the 'Three Men' sequel.

What are your thoughts?!

Yeah, I heard about the "Three Men...." sequel. Apparently, Mary is 21 now! :shock: I'm looking forward to seeing this sequel. I love both of the "Three Men...." films! I'm less enthusiastic about the Police Acadamy sequel. It all depends on whether a lot of the originals will be in it. If they are, I will definitely give it a view {thumb2}

I'm actually really excited to hear this! {thumb2} Three men and a baby was great! Did he give you any idea on who will be playing the little girl? if they make it according to the years it's been since the film came out, she'd be what, close to 20 now??? :D

No, he didnt give any more info on either films apart from that for Police Academy they are intending bringing back all surviving cast members (Sadly David Graf who played the hillarious Tackleberry died in 2001) and Kim Catrall has been asked but hasnt agreed yet(I hope she is in it but I suspect she thinks she is 'too famous' to do that again) and that Ted and Tom are on board for Three Men and yes, 'Baby' came out in late 1987 so Mary would now have just turned 21. IMDB says it will be called 'Three Men and a Bride' and the script has already been written and is just waiting to be made

exciting stuff!
