for most unis here you do an online form, where you choose 5 uni/course combos and put in your personal info and exams you're taking, as well as the beast that is the personal statement (i hated that thing). you send that off then wait to hear back to see if they'll make you an offer based on as grades (or whatever equivalent) and predicted grades. then they either reject you or make an offer of grades/ucas points to get, or ask for an interview before they make it. you choose a first choice and an insurance choice, then, just sit your a2 exams and hope you get what you need to get insynclaire wrote:Hi,
In my country,High School and College is the same thing. You can call it either.I don't know how things work there but here, when you're in the last class in elementry school, you write an exam called 'S.E.A' and you send in a form with four top choices of school you want to go to and according to your marks, you pass for your 1st choice(If you did really well ),2nd,3rd or 4th.I passed for my first choice a year ago and if I had to put myself in a grade in the U.S,I would be in the 7th.My scool is A.S.J.A Girls' College(A girl school ).
