I have been a Cincinnati Reds fan since I was a kid. A group of us go to games whenever possible. My baseball buddies like to take advantage of the 4 for $40 seats but I can't go to those. I am in a wheelchair and, even though Great American Ball Park has great wheelchair seating, it is never offered in those areas. If we go as a group, everyone pays full price or I stay home. We usually end up with everyone paying full price but it occurs to me that there are probably many elderly, disabled people on fixed incomes who would love to be able to go to a game if they could afford it. As for me, I would love to go to a game where my buds could get special tickets and not have to pay full price just because they're really nice people.
It's not like the Reds organization doesn't have have a few bucks lying around that could cover the occasional special ticket prices. I mean really, sports figures make a ton of money (Reds players included) and any organization that can support those salaries can spring for occasional special tickets in areas that include wheelchair seating.

Re: Fans with disabilities
yes i agree with you , there should be disabled seating available in the "cheap Seats" area , you should not be left out of promotional offers just because you are in a wheelchair.
Lets hope they can make changes to their policy in the near future.
