Hi all! I'm new here, so I figured I better start here. I've been collecting autographs since 1993. I go thru phases, so sometimes I'm REALLY into it, writing celebrities letters, buying the autograph magazines, etc...sometimes I just don't mess with it. But I NEVER pass up an opportunity to meet a celebrity in person! If I hear of a book signing, convention appearance, etc...I'm there!! For instance, I haven't done anything with autographs for awhile now, but I heard Pat Benatar was doing a book signing in Wichita, so I made sure I was there! Didn't really have the money to buy her book, but what the hell. About 300 people showed up.
I've been poking around the site and noticed some things on actor Ernest Borgnine, that he doesn't sign TTM anymore...can't blame him, he's 93, but anyway..he's supposed to be appearing at a comic/pop culture convention in Florida(where I lived most of my life), and I would LOVE to have his autograph! He's one of my favorites! So I'm trying to find a friend who's going to the convention to get me his autograph. I'll keep everyone posted...
Well, I've got some letters written and ready to mail(trying to get Pawn Stars, Melissa Joan hart and Drew Carey)....I'll let you know what happens. GREAT site!

Hey everyone I'm Chris nice to meet you all.I'm a die hard Pro Wrestling fan. I'm new to the TTM autograph scene however on a regular basis I do attend as many wrestling conventions and signings that I can possible. I have many pics with wrestlers that I have met through out my time of doing the whole meet and greets. At these conventions I usually don't get many autographs from them because I enjoy taking photos with them. Myself and my friends also go to airports and hotels and meet wrestlers as well and we usually score pretty good. Now that I ran into this message board I hope to have such a huge success with the TTM autograph hobby.

Hello everyone, i'm new to the idea of collecting autographs as a hobby so if anyone has any tips, feel free to enlighten the blind. My first two fan letters, SASE's and photos have just been sent off to Eric Idle and Michael Palin already (big Python fan) so here's hoping for a successful start. And besides, who doesn't love getting mail anyway? Apart from that, I adore the arts, silent movies, horror novels.. that sort of thing. Glad to be here!

I never would have thought to look for a site like this but I'm glad I found it! I've gotten autographs of Bill Clinton, Billy Joe Shaver, Lonestar, Lots of sports figures, Kira Kener and others I can't think of right now. Hope I have many successes here!

Also, as a new guy here, could somebody tell me what the different methods of signing are? I see the words autopen, AP, PP...I'm sure there's others, but what do they mean and what should I look for as collector. Obviously I would prefer Hand Signed over anything.... Thanks!
