I think it's just that all "rebellious" threads gets cut down eventually, and I was surprised it lasted as long as did given how long (or short I suppose) previous threads seem to have lasted. While I think it's in bad taste to post the personal information that user did, it is publicly available information and if that were the problem, only the post and not the entire thread would've been deleted.

However if a webmaster does not tolerate certain behaviour of people registered, like starting rebellious discussions, they can of course master their web the way they want it.

People visit this forum from their own free will, if they think somebody is unfair to them / and they might be right / or dislike the conditions nobody is forcing them to stay and suffer I guess.

But if you join a community and are unhappy, you can either help to make it better or leave.

Since many people give up "why would I bother, nobody would take me seriously anyway" then they might as well go, rather than only spreading around how they hate it here and how terrible it is and stuff.. I can´t see a reasonable point in that, especially if "rebellious threads" get deleted anyway.
