Where are you going for your summer holiday?

Going to San Francisco, CA --> Las Vegas, NV --> Disney Resort/Disneyland! Hmm, other than that, just gonna play tennis and hang out with friends. Not sure what else I'm gonna do.

Sounds like most of you are going to have a great summer. Like most years I'm not going anywhere special. I get 17 days vacation from work this year and usually take them to make 3-day weekends or go on a day trip.

So, at the moment plans are like this:
-Camping with the classmates (we have different school system than in USA, we don't choose our subjects and we're moving from class to class together, as a class so we get really close after 4 years)
-Being in Croatia for 2 weeks with my family
-Camping with my friends, there will be 8 of us - in Croatia or Slovenia, something near the sea
-Camping, going to the mountains with my boyfriend
But we'll see at the end. 2nd is the only one for sure. We're still searching for camps...
And of course I'll spend most of the evenings on the rock concerts

I'm not going abroad this year, but I have a week planned in July. I'm going to Stratford-upon-Avon with three friends. We're all David Tennant fans, and that's how we met (seeing Hamlet & other RSC shows last year). We're renting a cottage for the week and it's going to be great. I forsee many nights spend giggling, watching DVDs, sharing meals etc. We've already booked to see The Winter's Tale and As You Like It while we're there, and it's also the RSC Open Day on the Sunday so that will be great. We'll likely spend a few evenings propping up the bar in The Dirty Duck too (local theatre watering hole ;)).

The one sad thing is that our many friends in last year's cast wont be there, which will make it a very odd experience indeed. We've never been to Stratford without them being there. One or two said they might come down for Open Day, and I really hope they do.

You should do! I can give you hints on a good B&B It's a beautiful town. Definitely worth a visit, and try and do it before the Courtyard is torn down, it's an odd looking building (it's temporary) but it's wonderful. They do a free tour during the day, try and book a place And obviously - see a show!

I don't know what I'll be doing in summer? Maybe 2 weeks in polish mountains...I don't know yet.
But maybe I'll work somewhere?

I think I might be going to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for a week. My family usually has a vacation that's a week long, and a few small ones. I usually go to Cape Cod, Massachusetts (it's the tip on Massachusetts if you look on a USA map) for a day or a weekend a few times in the summer, just to hang out there.

It's a very nice place (Myrtle Beach and Cape Cod).

I don't have my passport yet, so I can't go, but my dad might be going to Cayman Islands for a week or so in the summer, because we might be moving there (economy problems here in the US).

So, that's my summer vacation (so far).
