Perez Hilton is a moron. Simon may be a bit of a tit too, but he knows his music. Perez is just a pathetic gossiping gimp.

I doubt Simon leaving would affect viewership much.. and even if Idol loses half it's viewers, it would still be one of the top-performing shows on television - it's that popular. Sad fact.

I think Russell Simmons would be perfect for the job. He's been in the music business for many years so he knows his stuff and I think he'd be a straight shooter and tell people like it is, not just what they want to hear.

Well, Conan is the latest rumored addition to Idol. I feel like it's going to end up with just a bunch of judges with no relation to music.
