Considering it's a reboot, anything that occurs in the first three movies can go right out the window. Otherwise, it'd be a prequel, not a reboot.

well the director called it a reboot since its the same thing...so doesnt that mean its a re-boot because its re-booting the movie franchise?

Yes, it is a reboot. That's why it doesn't matter that Peter Parker got his powers in the first movie, and the fourth movie (reboot) chronologically takes place before that - because movies #1-3 and movie #4 aren't part of the same story. They could simply make it so that Peter gets his powers during high school in the fourth movie.

On the other hand, if it were a prequel, then they still have to stick with all the events that occurred during the first three movies, and Peter Parker would have no powers in high school.

Well the re-boot/prequal idea worked very well for the stagnating Batman franchise, so it could do wonders here. I don't rate Toby Maguire or Kirsten Dunst , so hopefully they get better leads for the re-boot.

Heath Ledger did wonders for it... i dont like Bale as batman...people will only see
the 2011 movie to see who is in it...do u think Bale is the best batman?

I don't like Bale as Batman either, but the rebooting of the Batman movie franchise was a good move. Batman Begins and Dark Knight were far better than the Batman movies from the 90's.

Lol, I seem to be the only one who liked Bale as batman. I thought he was better in Batman Begins though, I found him a bit obnoxious in TDK. But yeah, the 90's batman movies were a bit too camp for my tastes lol
