This website is very very slow

This website/forum is indeed really slow! Sometimes I can't even reach the forum which makes me mad...

also there's a lot of spamming/advertising on here... will those threads be deleted?

heres the problem, the forum moves the same speed for the moderators as it does for you, I cant delete the spam because it takes forever to do anything on the forum. Ive tried to contact admin every way possable and he will not respond to this problem or even acknowledge that he's seen my post and pm's. so Ive pretty much given up.

Exactly it’s a shame the site is not pushed to its full potential . I don’t think it would cost a lot to upgrade their hosting server or pay for a better hosting service if it is not self-managed. Its not exactly a high tech website its just a forum !

It has gotten REALLY bad the past couple of months. It's absolutely frustrating. It's almost worth encouraging someone to step up and make a board some where else. They dont want to hand it over because I bet they make a ton off of ads. I bet no one ever wins the "drawings for 10 dollar gift cards" because that's probably non existent. If it is, sorry, but there's a group that are regular posters of successes and I've never heard of any of them winning. So what's the deal with that.

Anyhow. It would be nice to have a smaller forum where the regulars could go to post their successes and actually share VV without worrying about folks spamming to get stuff to sell on ebay or to get it just to get it and what not. I hate how offended people get when you won't give out an address and its someone who has just joined and you can tell they didn't even look for it.

There's really no point in complaining about the problems here.. they've been around forever, if admin really gave a shit, he would've fixed it long, long ago. It's just something you have to deal with while you're here.

If I created a forum similar to this which is incredibly fast how many people would be interested?

I can have it done roughly within 1-2 weeks , but if people are not going to use it I do not want to waste time and effort setting it all up.


The website would be similar to this one which i only launched yesterday to get an idea of speed and functionality
