I don't know if anyone out there cares, but I have a new update.

Out of nowhere my friend, the same one that sent that message for me, just said that he would call the girl I gave the paper to, get her thoughts on it, and try to convince her to go out with me.

I'll keep you posted.

Your first sentence there, I replied to your aimless posts a couple of days ago for moral support - not only have you ignored it but you continue to post without even looking at the one post you want so much - for someone to actually show that they have read your messages.

I read the post, I just didn't know what to say. It was so kind, a thank-you didn't seem like enough. I needed a lot more time to think about how to respond. And post the update as soon as it occurs for those waiting for one.

And that everyone applied to everyone except those that responded to the original post.

In creating the above post, I could see that you'd rather have the thank-you than anything more heartfelt.

So thank-you. It is appreciated greatly. It took time and it showed someone cared. For that reason a thank-you didn't seem like enough. But you'd rather have the cheap thing now than wait a little while for the valuable and worthwhile one. So, Thank-you.

Hey, I seem to think that this was a valuable and worthwhile thank you - I felt that you truly did write it from the heart. Please don't ever think that anyone on fanmail who cares needs a huge, valuable, worthwhile thank you when all we need is just a simple message like you did above. It certainly wasn't cheap and meant something to me, so I thank you for writing the message and I hope that your predicament turns out well in your favour. {thumb2}

I had no idea so many of you paid attention. I don't know what to say. I tell the story about me asking her out in eighth grade that started this whole thing, but it's 3 pages long single spaced size 12 font. So that won't work.

Well, thank you. You all showed that my life had meaning.

Anyone want to see the short version of that story? I'll gladly post it, if anyone wants to see it. The short version, though. Not the long version.

Well, that's it for now. My friend's friend (who he would get the phone number from) is out of town. So I'll let you all know when something comes of this.

Not pay attention! Are you kidding! I stopped watching T.V, Stopped writing autograph Requests and can barely sleep at night wondering if I'm going to get an update the next morning. Anticipation is killing me!!! It has come to the point I'm seeing a psychiatrist. Does he get the girl or not????

I can't tell if that was sarcasm, but oh well.

I actually angered members of my boy scout troop when I told this story. The anticipation actually was intense. You should hear me tell the long version of the story.

This isn't much of an update, but a reason as to why there haven't been any updates.

She's currently in Florida, so my friend has had no way to contact her. But school starts Monday, so she'll have to be back by then.

There will be an update by Monday, though there is a posibility that it will be something like

I saw her and she didn't acknowledge my existence.

Hopefully, it'll be something better. My New Year's Resolution was to talk to her at some point during 2008, so we'll see what happens. I consider the New Year's Resolution to be a promise to myself, and I don't break promises I make myself (if I did, none of this would've happened).

I'd put an excerpt of the paper that started this whole thing here, but it's way too long.

If anyone wants to read that paper let me know, and I'll post it.
