When I meant that religion had nothing to do with US Elections, I meant it as in this post was drifting towards more religion and not being based on the elections that are going on at the moment. Gary took it a little too seriously and took it the WRONG way like insulting one's religion. And the post after that was because I was just plain p***ed and had no idea what to come back with. So...i'm leaving it at that...elections are tuesday...i'm voting. {up}

I agree that it went rather wayward in terms of relevance to the topic at hand.

As an American, can you please explain the following? With the thirty-odd states who have the early vote option, do you receive any sort of unofficial indication of who is leading where, before Tuesday? Or do you guys have to wait until every single state in the U.S has cast their votes? The waiting's driving me mad

Anyone else see the Terminator, trying to give McCain a bit of a boost?! Whose the one turning to celebrities now, eh Johnny boy?

I hope you all relies that if you ameria let Mccain win the election there is a very good chance he will pass away even before his 1st term finishes. That will mean yes you guessed it sahara palin will be presidnt of the USA a woman who doesn't know what the role of vp is,doesn't know what hammas is,can't locate iran on the map and doesn't even know the first amentment which I know many Americans hold close to their hearts http://www.salon.com/opinion/greenwald/ ... index.html
If Mccain does get into office Palin has already said she wants to spread her evangelical beliefs which is scary enough. Well for some people to claim Obama a Muslim and is a terrorist threat to America what a load of bull ect. The poor guy has actually had to publish his birth certificate to prove he is not. If Mccain wins the election I know most of Europe will start building a wall. Some of us think how can they consider him a suitable president then we remember they voted bush in not 1 but 2 terms can America be so gullible again?
Man * is not a term United fans refer to themselves as. The term is only used by other supporters as a complete and utter insult to our club. The "u" is meant to be "you" by the rival fans.

An early example was from WBA fans: "Duncan Edwards is manure, rotting in his grave, man you are manure- rotting in your grave". The origin of "Man Utd" is a song to insult the dead Duncan Edwards.

Liverpool and Leeds fans copied this with their own man you /u versions to insult all of the lads who died at munich.

"Man * Man * went on a plane Man * Man * never came back again"

and..

"Man * Never Intended Coming Home" (if you combine the first letter of each word you get the word "munich").

So... Please REFRAIN from using this term ever again!!!!!!!!

unfoutunetley yes...

But at least if you look at some of the College Electoral Maps it shows that Obama is winning by a landslide!

So I feel that Obama will win this election and turn this country around!

I really have no idea. I've never really followed early voting that much...it just seems a lot more people are doing it now. Most in my state were lining up yesterday to vote...and that was a lot. I think that it is added up for tuesday when the official election day has come and it'll just add into it while the early voter's vote will wait, I guess.

Yeah, It's pretty crazy. I don't understand why people would want to vote early, though. I mean...I understand if you are gone on election day to somewhere else and can't make it, but just doing it for the hell of it isn't right. Votes should just be cast on Tuesday for everybody. That'll never happen though...

i agree with you, i keep looking at the maps of the electoral college and obama is doing great ;-) i really hope and believe he can turn this country around. {thumb2} i'm a little worried about him though - in school i saw a video and the kkk was talking about how if he got elected they already have a plan to take him out. it's disgusting

Never?! In the land of the free home of the brave where all men are created equal with freedom and equality for all?! I'm stunned. Yet you have people who wish to assassinate your soon to be democratically elected leader just because of the colour of his skin. Where as in generally "evil" socialist Europe I have a unconfirmed feeling that skin colour actually wouldn't be an issue for any of the country's.

curious isn't it.

Just think of the fantastic example your fellow country people will set to all those country's who you have bombed and invaded over the past 7 years trying to "teach" them the ways of freedom and democracy when/if your president gets killed for being black.

I'm tempted to call that irony. But i fear it may be lost on some members.
